At Microsoft, we believe that inclusive access to AI skills is essential for innovation, equity, and opportunity. Yet today, Danish women use AI 20% less than men and are significantly less likely to be offered AI training. That’s a gap we’re committed to closing🚀 We’re proud to partner with Connected Women in AI, Finansforbundet, and Copenhagen Airport to launch a new training initiative designed to equip more women with the confidence and capabilities to apply AI in their daily work. The program offers hands-on experience through self-paced learning, peer-led groups, and a dedicated AI Ambassador track. Participants receive certification and join a growing cross-sector network committed to responsible, inclusive AI. The first cohort was launched through AI Kompetencepagten by Digital Dogme, with support from member organizations helping bring the initiative to life in workplaces across Denmark. We’re excited to welcome participants from CPH Airport, Finansforbundet, Visma, KEA, and ATP. Together, we’re setting a new direction for strengthening digital capabilities and closing the AI skills gap across sectors.

AI works best when users don't have to think about it. That's what we've learned from integrating AI into EG's products in 2025. I recently spoke with ITWatch about our experience. The main insights: AI that sits outside your daily workflow creates friction. AI that's built into the tools you already use transforms how work gets done. Our healthcare voice-to-text is a good example. Doctors could use standalone AI transcription tools, but that means switching between systems. When we build it directly into the clinical system they're already working in—with understanding of patient context and medical workflows—it becomes genuinely useful. The doctor just works normally, and AI handles the documentation seamlessly. This saves a general practitioner at least an hour per day and allows for more face-to-face contact with the patient. We're taking this integration-first approach across all the markets we are in: construction, education, property management, energy management, retail and public sector . The AI impact has been significant in EG. We've seen 100% productivity improvements in parts of our software development, which gives us confidence to pursue a doubling of the development throughput in 2026 and continue integrating AI across all our products.
