On April 30th, at Facebook’s headquarters in Menlo Park, the Edge Application Developer project group hosted Telecom Infra Project's (TIP) first Hackathon on live edge infrastructure, attracting developers with a range of skill levels to experience the power of the edge. The Hackathon goal was to demonstrate progress with live edge technology via the following focus areas: SDK's, Developer Community, and TIP Lab Cloudlets. Since this is a new technology, many of the participating developers were not familiar with it.
