Hyperloop is the future of transportation, connecting distant cities and pioneering mobility. And Avishkar Hyperloop from IIT Madras is spearheading the Hyperloop Development in India, backed by the Indian Railways! Systems development centered around the triad "Safety, Scalability and Manufacturability", Avishkar has embarked upon the journey of bringing hyperloop to a reality in the year 2017. With a holistic approach, Avishkar has brought out innovation in various engineering fields both for the pod and the associated infrastructure. Our test bed at the Discovery Campus of IIT Madras features a 422m long vacuum tube with the track designed and patented entirely by the student team in collaboration with industry giants such as Indian Railways, ArcelorMittal, Hindalco, and L&T Construction. This facility, also known as the world's largest student-run hyperloop testing facility, is accessible to everyone to validate their systems making India the global hub for hyperloop development.
