Big news for #Protobuf developers: Your IDE just got a massive upgrade! We just released the first production-grade Language Server Protocol server for Protobuf. That means Protobuf now has code completion, go-to-definition, finding references, semantics-aware syntax highlighting and other features you've come to expect from modern languages. This has been a big gap in the Protobuf ecosystem. Until now, you've had to work without the tooling support that developers take for granted in other languages. Not anymore. The Buf CLI now powers full LSP support for Protobuf, making it not just the smartest schema choice, but the easiest one to actually work with.
