Hi, I'm lhns
Welcome to my blog! I'm a software architect / engineer, fascinated by the inner workings of systems and the patterns that make them tick.
I mainly build web services, sometimes full-stack, and occasionally work on security components. My focus is on creating systems that are clear, robust, and maintainable.
On the infrastructure side, I like things that are self-contained. Components that work on their own, run locally if needed, and don't require complicated setup. It's about keeping systems simple and reliable without unnecessary overhead.
I enjoy exploring technologies that spark my curiosity, like CRDTs, content-addressable storage, stateless/idempotent design, durable workflows, and similar ideas. I'm always thinking about how the software of the future might work, and how new approaches could shape more resilient, adaptable systems. I also enjoy exploring theoretical corners: type systems, effect systems, and programming language design, as they often inspire practical solutions.
Outside of software, I tinker with electronics projects and 3D printing, which gives me a chance to experiment and build things from scratch.
At heart, I enjoy understanding how things fit together, whether it's code, systems, or the small projects on my desk.
