Why i do what i do…

There have been many times on this earth where I have felt foggy about who I am, aimless in my pursuits and utterly alone in my journey. & It is my connection to the unseen that continues to bring me home to clarity, purpose and divine companionship again and again.

& We ALL have access to these unseen forces. Divinity, regardless of what you choose to call it, lives within and around us. Its in the air we breathe, the stories and dna of our ancestors, it’s in the land that we walk on & the place within our minds that we journey to have otherworldly experiences.

I believe that we are more than just this life. That our soul has walked here many times before and will walk here again. I believe that we each have a special mission full of juicy side quests unlocked by the same key - knowing oneself & remaining fiercely devoted to that knowing.

Everything you have ever wanted to know about yourself & your life lives deep within you. All you have to do is open up your mind enough to begin to see it.

A journey that is much easier said than done.

To know thyself is not a final destination - it is a life long multifaceted pursuit that will play out like the greatest treasure hunt of your life.

As a young human in my 30’s I have already lived many lifetimes worth of roles and titles.

a BA in Psychology from the University of Maine at Farmington.

10 years self employed as a residential / rental property cleaner is a beautiful Maine beach town of Ogunquit.

6 years, I ran an online business called Creativelyfree2bme (now Leanne Journals), where I taught classes on self exploration and expression through creative journaling

In 2019 ✨ I taught myself how to read tarot & began speaking on Manifestation

In 2022, I started Leanne Aligned and began reading + teaching Tarot Professionally & Dipped my toe out of the Witch Closet

In 2024 - I graduated from a Psychic Mystery School as a Akashic Record Reader & Guide

& Moved from Maine to Texas to help my MIL open a Farm to Table Cafe!

What titles can’t tell you - 💖

I have had spiritual gifts all my life. I grew up homeschooled in a Christian household where anything witchcraft or magic adjacent was forbidden. But I had a secret - I could see angels and spirits in my room at night.

As a child , My Aunt Jeanne, (thank the gods for her) taught me how to see and practice energy healing through reiki and crystals, to appreciate the magic in the animals and the forest and later in life introduced me to oracle cards and creative journaling.

I moved away from home in my early teens and began the long journey of self discovery away from organized religion. While trying to fit into a world that wasn’t made for me , well into my 20’s - I lost myself almost entirely.

When it came time to choose my identity via a career as per societal tradition, I picked the only thing I felt connected to within the academic world - Psychology.

I had always felt as if I could see and understand things that others couldn’t. I was fascinated with people watching & felt as if I could see beyond the surface of who they were. I went into my degree with a desire to help people understand themselves by learning this magical ability to truly “See” them.

& By the time I finished my bachelors degree with a double focus in counseling and research, I realized that everything I felt I wanted to do to help people was not possible through the regulatory machined structure of the world of Psychology. & I was devastated.

It was then that I began my journey on Youtube, sharing my gifts with the world through Journaling. Teaching free and paid classes on creative freedom journaling. (A phrase I coined to describe the process of setting your soul free through creative expression.) Journaling was the first tool I found that helped me channel my creative energy in a way that brought me closer to discovering who I was.

After a while though, I started to feel like I was meant for more & as a life long learner I began studying anything magical that I could get my hands on. I began practicing Witchcraft, Learning and teaching Manifestation and returning back to my card practice. It was then that I began to teach myself how to read tarot and found that it was something that felt like home to me.

Since then I have continued to chase my passions and interests in past lives, akashic records, shadow work, mediumship, healing through the dark feminine and astrology.

As I continue to learn and grow through my own constant cycles of death and rebirth - I also continue to expand the ways in which I can teach others and share with them all that I have learned and been gifted with.
