Kayla Sapp, PhD

Research Scientist in Theoretical Biophysics.

About Me

I am a Theoretical Biophysicist with over 10 years of research experience. I am passionate about breaking down complex systems to their mathematical analogs using techniques from advanced mathematics and physics.

I have recently embarked on a journey to learn Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques. These methods have many applications in biology and health. I want to learn best pracitices for applying these methods in order to help answer the important questions in health and biology.

Outside of science and research, I like adventuring into nature with my rescue pup, rock climbing, and participating in group exercise classes.
