ENGINE ANGEL is a 'car'-acter action game where you smash rip & tear through hordes of other angel-infested vehicles dying for worship.
The folks and I at Ivy Road are looking for publisher funding to make the game in full, but we want to show what we've made regardless!
I'll be posting some of the concept art I made for the prototype here.

Come on. Cold open your mid-budget indie RPG with ninety minutes of unskippable slice-of-life bullshit where you can't even save your progress because there's some diegetic reason why save points don't exist until after the inciting crisis hits. You know you want to.
Put a tutorial fight right before the first save point pops. Give it slightly cryptic mechanics that make it possible to lose, and if you do fuck it up you get booted back to the title screen and have to do the whole prologue over again because your save file doesn't exist yet. Do it.
Ponderously teach them to play obtuse minigames which are mandatory to complete the prologue but vanish from the narrative as soon as the real plot kicks off, only to return as progress-gating puzzles in the final dungeon, dozens of hours after the player has forgotten they exist. Game of the year.

Doing more Snow Castle rooftops for today's Nightmare Kart dev thread!
We made a lot of changes to the new parts of the track that affect how the previous parts look so here's a full run through of everything we got so far!
For the new stuff:
On the first roof I added boost pads to signal to the player that it's safe to drive off of onto the second roof. I also found that the racer can fall in between the roof railings, so I added a little boost pad there as well!
The second roof jumps onto a building next to the castle wall which then ramps the player over a previous part of the track and into the forest outside the castle, which will eventually loop around to the start of the track at the castle entrance.
