Start workout button for runs
For the running workouts i miss the “start workout” button. Now i have to use external timer apps to do my workouts when running unlike the ones for cycling.

Choice of activity

Commute registration
I’d like to suggest an improvement to the commute planning feature. At the moment, the app only allows me to enter one total commute duration per day. I currently log 2 hours, but in reality this consists of two separate 1‑hour rides. Because the app can’t register these as two distinct commutes, my training suggestions and load calculations end up being inaccurate. Being able to enter multiple commute segments per day would make the planning much more precise.

Add more than one goal to training plan
It would be nice to be able to add all my racing I'm doing for the year into a goal so I can get training for them all in one plan instead of choosing the closest race then making a new goal when I finish it

I would like to request a functionality to be able to modify the auto-pause behaviour in the app. In a structured training I would like to be able to coast some seconds after an effort. Coasting will enable the trainer auto-calibration (wahoo). Now the app goes into auto-pause way to quick so I frequently neef to manually resume the workaout. I suggest to add an option to disable auto-pause completely or to set a customizable time before the app auto-pause.

I also use join to train for other sports like running ets… Now there is only the option to add a cycling race, it would be good to also be able to just add another race thats not only cycling.

Limit total training volume per week
In general, I am able to train any day of the week so I put in my availability as something like 1h for M-F and 2h for each weekend day. The result is that JOIN will often schedule 7+ hours of training per week. In reality, I would like to limit the total weekly volume to something like 5h but still make clear that I am available to train on any day of the week. My only way to limit to 5 now is to artificially set my availability to 0 for some days, but that may be suboptimal for my training. I would like to have an ability to set my total weekly max training hours and let JOIN decide how best to schedule the training over the week.

Warmup and cooldown for indoor sessions
So when I do a training session outdoor I don’t start the workout until after my warmup (and when I’m out of the city :D). But when riding indoor the session starts straight away, and often right in Z2. Also there’s no cooldown. It would be really nice to be able to include a short 5 min ramp up and ramp down. This could be like a tickbox when loading the workout in the Workout Player, or when exporting to use it in Zwift/Rouvy etc.

Manual entry of power after a workout that only synced heart rate
When I work out in a gym, I cannot get the power to sync, so I only get my heart rate data from my Garmin watch. But I can see the Watts I put out during the ride. I would like a feature that asked me what percentage of the ride I was within the specified power zones during the workout. Then I just input a percentage like 95% of the time. Then the AI can take that into account. Additionally, I notice when I do a V02 Max session, often the power I am to maintain does not result in a very hear V02 Max exercise. Yet even though I enter a lower RPE score, it does not really adjust the power for the next V02 Max. So maybe add a quick check for people to say whether they felt they actually got a V02 Max out of the session and then adjust accordingly.

Allow for setting preferred types of workout sessions by day of the week. For example, prefer hard interval sessions on Tues/Thurs and endurance on Sat/Sun. This will allow athletes to further individualize the training plan beyond time-based availability.

Minimum slider
It would be good to be able to say “I need to do at least X minutes cycling” (where X is how long the commute or whatever takes), but leave the option for join to recommend either a longer ride or reccomend a workout to do within that minimum time. So if join thinks I should do 5 hours that day, I can take a more scenic route for my commute! At the moment, the only option is to tell join I have a planned workout, but then I am probably under-loading, especially if I am commuting 3 or 4 days per week.

Add decimale to weight
It woukd be nice to be alle to add decimals to weight. If you round up 64,4 or 63,6 it would both be 64. The weight does matter for your w/kg.

Join Should build solid knowledge base where every widget/number is explained how to understand it. Currently info is available only for some widgets in app. Also some user scenarios should be described while app is not that obvious. Join has highly automated plan builder. Some people need to understand what is behind it to make it fit better to their needs (like me)
