I hop in the car and Grace... "I have a pressie for you!"
"Hey... the pressie is a drink at Waldeck´s with you!!!"
But Grace rightfully assumed these fun oranges will make me smile every time and think of the happy Perth time with our friends.
This is for...
Actually this post would´ve had the title "Love Talk"...
Let me explain:
So... we were at Waldecks but the women there were SO LOUD we had to leave... and after browsing the plants and pots we ended up in the car.
"How´s it going with Ingo?", Grace asked.
She is my friend, I told the truth, the full truth also that:
When we still had a weekend-relationship I managed nearly everything on my own and now...
"Ingo, can you, Ingo, can you..."
Ingo is taller, hence faster... more skilled... stronger... you name it!!!
"No!", said Grace, "you need to do that yourself again!"
And I do. I start...
And it feels good, too.
It takes longer, I need my mini-IKEA-chair when I need to reach high up, so what.
The butterflyclips... "Ingo, can you... Ingo..." - I can do that myself!!!
I even took the pic myself - you see try#5 here (or such).
And it feels good!!!
Will I drive a car again? In Germany? Not so sure.
Ingo would give me his without hesitation.
But... not yet. Or.. ever?
I take away my freedom, I know!
But I don´t want to risk lives, mine and others!
Say "buh!" and I flip.
A tyre blowing is like "buh!" - happened to Ingo once.
Grace asked me to name but three things good about Ingo.
That is so difficult!
It would be worth three single posts. But I keep it short, and this is just for Perth-holiday:
#1 booked rides and flights despite strikes and all (can do!!!)
#2 got me sold out oil pastels I did not even ask for (cares!!!!)
#3 always makes sure the gear and I are OK (combines #1 and 2)
Also cooks well, does groceries, let´s me know when great shows are on.. sorry, Grace, more than three and I could go on.
You know him. Always on the run but with a good heart.
Well, not the point?
Art led to talk and the art made it home, see - they made it from our kitchen to my PC:
Thank you, Grace, oh sooo much more to come, pop in next Sunday!
P.S. .... in the background you see the poppy-sachet Grace´s Hubby presented me - from Waldecks - in 2015. Yes, it still hangs there - greetings!
