Awards Eligibility
Hell Itself staff are not compensated and run the magazine as a hobby. Authors are paid a small stipend for their work ($5/story), significantly below what the industry has deemed to be “pro rates.” We honestly don’t know if that makes us a “fanzine” or a “semiprozine” for Hugo purposes.
All our stories are eligible as original short stories for award purposes.
