Happiness Co Foundation

Making Happiness Attainable

Born from loss. Built on hope.

When our founder, Julian, lost his father to suicide on his 21st birthday, he made a promise: no one should feel alone through their darkest moments. That promise became the Happiness Co Foundation – a movement turning pain into possibility and prevention into action.

Impacting 10 million lives in 10 years

— that’s our vision. And we’re already on our way.

A Movement Built on
Prevention & Connection

Our approach is action-oriented, collaborative and deeply human. Through events, training, giving-back programs and people-centred projects, we empower individuals with resources and practical tools that foster resilience and sustainable wellbeing.

To achieve our vision of impacting 10 million lives in 10 years, we’ve designed a model that blends entrepreneurial thinking with grassroots trust. Our point of difference lies in our positioning:

We are not a mental health organisation that waits for crisis. We are a happiness movement that intervenes with education, connection and prevention.

Making Happiness Attainable

One in four Australians will face challenges with their mental health. Globally, one in eight people are affected. Too often, help only arrives once a crisis has taken hold.

At Happiness Co Foundation, we do things differently. We intervene early, teaching resilience in schools, building networks in communities and embedding wellbeing in workplaces. We don’t just help people survive. We help them thrive.

We are not a warning sign.
We are a lighthouse.

Our Programs

Our programs transform lives by shifting individuals from crisis to capability through prevention, education and connection. Initiatives like our Happy to Help program meet immediate needs, while free youth, school & community workshops, the Father Project and International Day activations foster resilience and belonging across communities.

Youth & Schools

We’re committed to positively impacting the mental health and wellbeing of young people by building their resilience, confidence and sense of self-worth. Through our interactive workshops, youth are equipped with practical tools in resilience, confidence and emotional intelligence. These skills are vital to helping them navigate challenges and thrive in everyday life. For our younger audiences, our Trev the Tractor children’s book and storytelling sessions spark meaningful conversations in a fun, engaging way, teaching the importance of kindness, connection and checking in on one another.

Together, these initiatives nurture stronger mental health, healthier relationships and a deeper belief in self, ensuring each child and young person feels seen, valued and supported.

“Julian’s message about kindness and making tough choices resonated deeply. Our students walked out inspired to look after themselves and their mates.” — Deputy Principal, WA School

Community Wellbeing

Our community activations – from grassroots initiatives like Road To Happiness and Happy To Help to partnerships with groups like Barbarians and Cold Nips 100 Dips – show how powerful small actions can be when done with care. Each act of kindness, every shared moment and each connection made helps to foster belonging, reduce isolation and build stronger support networks.

When multiplied across communities, these simple gestures compound into extraordinary change, creating ripple effects that uplift individuals, strengthen resilience and shape a culture where happiness and wellbeing are not just aspirations but lived realities.

Workplace Mental Health

We collaborate with organisations to embed wellbeing into workplace culture, helping teams build resilience, manage stress and improve overall performance. Our tailored programs go beyond one-off workshops, they create lasting shifts that support both leaders and their teams.

For many partners, the benefits are twofold: stronger wellbeing outcomes for staff and measurable contributions to their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) commitments. By investing in prevention, organisations foster healthier, more engaged and more productive workplaces.

Volunteers

The Heart of Our Movement

Every life we change is made possible by volunteers. But at Happiness Co Foundation, volunteering is about more than giving time – it’s about multiplying impact.

We train, mentor and empower our incredible volunteers to become advocates in their own communities. Each workshop facilitated, every event supported and every story shared creates a ripple effect that extends far beyond the individual moment.

What We Give Back

Skills and leadership experience
A community of belonging and support
Recognition through volunteer events and celebrations
The joy of seeing your efforts directly change the lives of others

Every volunteer saves lives – not just through the time they give, but through the ripple effect they create.

Real Impact, Real Stories

Behind every number is a face, a family, a community and a story of change.
These stories prove our philosophy: small actions, done often, change everything.

Partnerships For Social Impact

We believe impact multiplies when like-minded organisations work together. That’s why we partner with schools, corporates and grassroots groups to deliver programs that align with their goals, while also creating real change in the communities around us.

OUR TRUSTED PARTNERS

Events That Inspire

From grassroots gatherings to headline galas, our events fuel both connection and impact.

Our entrepreneurial approach means events aren’t just fundraisers – they’re cultural touchpoints that turn awareness into tangible action.
