Sabaidee and hello! We are raising money to help support the construction of our new Wat Lao in Arizona, one of the few in the state.

For over 5 years our small Lao Community has worked hard to raise the funds to build a new temple. After many setbacks and delays, we purchased a new property in Phoenix, AZ earlier this year.

The property is beautiful and on 2.5 acres with a small house and shed. The house is from the 1950s and currently unlivable, but we have many ideas on how to utilize it.

Members of our community have spent every weekend volunteering to get the house and land ready for the Ah Jarn, while maintaining safe social distancing.

The temperatures have been in the 100s all summer and we are in the middle of a pandemic so progress has been slow. We have torn out all the floor boards and walls and are slowly rebuilding the house. We could use any monetary assistance to purchase materials for the reconstruction of the house and land. As all of this work has been on the hands of our community and volunteers, your donation truly matters and you will help support our dream of building a new temple.
