My name is Ansam Al-Najjar from Gaza. I am 25 years old. I live with my children, my husband Ahmed Hamdouna, my son Rafiq, 5 years old, and Elaine, 4 years old. The war destroyed my kindergarten, I lost his backpack and toys, and now I suffer from hepatitis C. I lost my safe home. I live in fear and anxiety from the sound of bombing and the sound of military aircraft. I was living a happy life with my family and I wanted to go back to kindergarten, learn, play and live in a safe place with my family. This is our story that my mother will tell you: With the beginning of the war on 12/2/2024, the birthday of my son Rafiq, which my family and I celebrate every birthday, the occupation and all the residents of the neighborhood in which we live called us and asked us to evacuate our homes immediately. We raised our homes without thinking and without them taking our money, our clothes, and even our food. Then, in the blink of an eye, our lives were turned upside down. Our future is lost.
