As with many businesses in this economy, The Root is on the verge of no longer being able to sustain operations. This business has literally been a labor of love for our director, Kellie, for the last 7 years.  In our transition to a non-profit model, our hope has been to make The Root's offerings more accessible to all and to really make it a space that is a "community good" - a place where new and expecting parents in addition to growing families can gather for support, community, resources and a true village mindset.

And it's going to take a village to keep this studio and community sustainable.  This is where you come in. One really tangible way that you can support this is pledging a monthly donation amount.  Even donations as small as $10 or $20 each month can really make a difference in us surviving!

Our goal this fall is to have 100 new supporters. If 100 people donated $20 a month, we would have the breathing room to know that The Root isn't going anywhere.  That's less than 3 cups of coffee per month.  It's hardly more than your Netflix subscription. But even amounts that small rolled up together make a HUGE difference for us.
