Mako Launcher requires only essential permissions:
- Set as Home App – to function as a launcher
- Query Installed Apps – to list and launch applications
No network access is required.
- App grouping & quick actions: Long press any app to assign it to a group, rename it, or access additional actions. Grouped apps help you stay organized and find what you need faster.
- Battery monitoring: Monitor battery status, temperature and performance.
- Day of the year: Track the current day of the year at a glance for productivity or personal tracking.
- Long-press in an empty area of the app list to open Settings.
- Watch the Mako Demo / Walkthrough for a quick overview.
- Available on F-Droid for easy installation and updates.
- Download the latest APK from the **Releases page ** or use Obtanium to get the newest version directly from the github releases.
