I have tried everything to install Elementary 8.1 on my 2016 MacBook Pro. I have tried Custom Install, and Erase Disk and Install but I continue to get an error that says "the ESP Partition must be at least 256 MiB in size". The last suggestion I tried was to make the EFI partition 2048 MiB in the hopes that it was seen as larger. But with all the workarounds I've tried, I can't get past this error.
I have completely formatted the 1TB drive leaving only the EFI partition and an unallocated partition. I also tried allocating all partitions manually. But no luck.
