Drop Down Menu

Ive been trying to add items to the dropdown menu following the documentation on the wiki, with no success. I managed to add launch icons using the format provided in the docs, and these work. Ideally, i dont want all these icons taking up space on the clock screen, or any other screen for that matter, and the dropdown menu would resolve this.

That said - does the menu configuration work out-of-the-box? Because by default home and weather are already included, and yet clicking the menu icon does not reveal them, leading me to believe there isn't just user error.

Also, where did you see documentation about the dropdown menu?
In the config I added a menu item named 'music' thinking it would link to the built-in View Assist dashboard 'music', but all I get is an exclamation point icon and it does nothing when clicked.

The format type:target|icon|label is used for both status and menu items:

Type: The action type - "view", "entity", or "service"
Target: Path, entity_id, or service to act on
Icon: Icon name without mdi: prefix (optional, defaults based on type)
Label: Optional
Examples:

view:music|music|Music
view:weather|weather-sunny|Weather
entity:light.kitchen|lightbulb|Kitchen
service:script.goodnight|moon|Goodnight
