Sorry I don't know why I spent so much time on this only to realize after I posted that the unlabeled slider is the gain control on the app 🤦 |

I'm pretty new to all of this so it's possible I messed something up. My setup is a Raspberry Pi 4 with an Airspy Mini plugged in, running SpyServer. I suspect the gain setting is not working correctly with SpyServer.
I can successfully connect with SDR++ from MacOS to my Pi/SpyServer however all I see is noise, not even a single FM channel. When I plug the Airspy directly to the Mac and launch SDR++, it also initially looks exactly the same until I bump the gain from 1 to around 15.
My SpyServer config already has
initial_gain = 15, but this doesn't do anything. However I did notice that if I also change the following settings:I suddenly get my local FM station + I can see all of the neighboring stations on the waterfall. My suspicion is that SpyServer's initial gain value is being set back to 1 by SDR++. By disabling client control it seems to prevent SDR++ from changing the gain value. However this also breaks SDR++ because I can't tune outside of the initial window.
So my question is whether this is expected? Is there a way to adjust the gain setting with SpyServer selection that I can't find?
