Cancelled work plane placement can cause odd behavior

Clicking the work plane button, then pressing escape can result in odd behavior.
A huge rotation handle can become visible, and an object appears at (0, 0, 0).

those are all of the control handles, and the numbers, and all the icons, but since no object is selected, a bug in the ControlSprites.updateLines() is drawing them all without placing, scaling or orienting any of them. This is a tricky one to trigger, i am verry happy yow were able to reliably capture it, should make it easier to fix.
