From 1443167f461600e5253592d69d19cd51b27c6280 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Tom Lane Date: Fri, 17 Sep 2004 18:29:10 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] Hashed LEFT JOIN would miss outer tuples with no inner match if the join was large enough to be batched and the tuples fell into a batch where there were no inner tuples at all. Thanks to Xiaoyu Wang for finding a test case that exposed this long-standing bug. --- src/backend/executor/nodeHashjoin.c | 10 ++++++---- 1 file changed, 6 insertions(+), 4 deletions(-) diff --git a/src/backend/executor/nodeHashjoin.c b/src/backend/executor/nodeHashjoin.c index 8524bbec9c..4d6bbbf64a 100644 --- a/src/backend/executor/nodeHashjoin.c +++ b/src/backend/executor/nodeHashjoin.c @@ -602,12 +602,14 @@ ExecHashJoinNewBatch(HashJoinState *hjstate) } /* - * We can skip over any batches that are empty on either side.
