Here are some game creation-related books I’ve read, am currently reading or plan to read. If anyone has any more suggestions please give me a shout!
- Game Engine Architecture: Finshed reading. A mighty tome which gave me a great grounding in what and why is going on with game engines. I will likely only need to reference it from time to time again.
- Game Character Creation with Blender and Unity: Read through but want to re-read and follow along with the practical work as I go like you’re supposed to.
- Game Design Workshop: Currently reading. I’ve been saving this book until now as it’s this game design topic that excites me the most about making games. So far it has not disappointed! I’m trying to be more disciplined and follow along with all the paper-based exercises as I go.
