Emerging in 2018 from Columbia/Nashville Tennessee, United States, The Sun Bodies blends rock, indie rock, blues, soul and americana into a genre-defying sound.

We are a rock and soul band based out of the greater Nashville area with members hailing from Georgia, Texas, New York and the Mid-west. Formed by front-man Jason Alexander and Drummer Devin Oakley. Original sound influenced by decades of great music past and present . A diverse combination spanning from easy listening dance tunes, blues and gospel all the way to phsych rock guitar tones with soaring solos, meaningful lyrics and soulful vocals. Big enough for the big stage and small enough for your house party. Aspiring to reach the pinnacle of the music culture through authenticity and hard work.
