Engineering Empathy moves beyond the surface to spark a stronger understanding of ourselves and each other while addressing the root of our deeper issues so we may all suffer less.

We bring practical experience, deep research and examples of positive action to benefit all. Through the sharing of insights, intelligence and modalities of healing we support changes in perspectives globally that bring solutions addressing the systemic issues that block growth for all.

The organization takes on many forms - triage for urgent issues, research and publication, advising, programming, and as connectors of those who are already in the trenches doing good in the world - so that society not only reduces suffering, but thrives.

Since we officially launched on 2/22/22 our work around the globe has been impactful with the following representing just a sampling of Engineering Empathy's achievements (some of which can be found in more detail in our Tavssberger Facebook and Instagram feeds - we’ve been so busy there’s so much more we haven’t even had the opportunity to share):

- Advocating in US and State legislatures for Mental Health reforms

- Supplementing gatherings of survivors, healers and practitioners with deeper insights into inner strength, self worth and further healing

- Meetings around the world with brain inflammation researchers and healing practitioners to assist in greater collaboration on research while driving better outcomes

- Leading multi-national explorations into the future of Education

- Stepping in to support people experiencing psychotic breaks to keep them safe and bring the needed support

- Bringing insight to engage brighter experiences surrounding end-of-life and grieving

- Connecting aligned groups to increase their reach, effectiveness and power in delivering profoundly needed solutions

- Moving about the world while remaining open to how and where we can deliver support to anyone at any moment

- Sharing the methods, tools, modalities and mindsets so that we can all Engineer Empathy.

As we've further developed what Engineering Empathy is meant to be and how it serves society, the future impact continues to expand. Beyond continuing with the above, here's just a few of the activations in the works to provide a sense of all the spaces we're in — because they are all connected:

- Guide and present modalities for transmuting grief in support of those who have lost loved ones

- Share insights with parents/family, educators and lawmakers into the evolving warning signs that protect people from killing themselves or others - and how those in that kind of suffering might be best supported

- Engage law enforcement and corrections executives with practices that increase understanding, empathy and compassion while reducing costs and strengthening positive outcomes

- Foster new forms of education that are actually relevant in our quickly evolving times

- Launch programs that connect people who have been stuck in states of loneliness utilizing technology in forms most haven't even been considered

- Develop more enriching practices surrounding end of life experiences

- Continue to support gatherings of people around the world with our "Love Your Body, Love Your Self" body positivity programming.

Engineering Empathy's model ensures access to our services based on need instead of wealth or standing. Funding by compassionate individuals and entities creates an environment where we all benefit from a return on investment in humanity. We decided retaining non-profit - 501(c)3 - status would limit our global impact across society. As such, Engineering Empathy is structured as a California Corporation.

All funds raised enable us to continue to connect, put the pieces together, raise awareness and enact change across humanity to bring profound, rapid healing amidst global suffering.

Grateful to be in the arena Engineering Empathy. Thank You for doing your part to make this world a better place.

With love and appreciation,

Elise and Jonathan Tavssberger
