The Negative Digital Presence of Elon Musk   Over the past few months and since the 2024 Presidential Election, Elon Musk, Co-Founder and Leader of Tesla, has been a frequently talked-about public figure. I would consider Musk as a digital creator from the fact that he is a huge face all over media, and due to his position over the app formally known as Twitter, X. Despite his rise to fame in earlier years, Musk has seemed to rebrand himself as a political figure for the Republican party alongside Donald Trump. With Trump appointing Musk his very own branch in the Government, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which has sparked uproars of confusion and anger from a large majority of the American people. Out of the many past and recent controversies the X owner has been in, I primarily want to focus on three that I find important to talk about.  In Chapter 4 in the textbook  Writing and Editing for Digital Media I really enjoyed learning more about style when it comes to digital media and how editors can take that and create something unique that abides to them personally. The title of this chapter, Abstract, obviously paints the reader a picture of what will be covered in this chapter, and when it comes to editing, we really can take our work and create something that is "abstract". Creativity is a big part of creating a project, and I'm curious to see how we take editing in this class.
