I began taking pictures to accompany words and stories. Taking photographs has since become its own separate activity and pursuit. For sake of ease, these are linked Instagram posts. Many were taken with my phone, others with a digital SLR, and some yet with ye old fashioned 35mm or a Yashica 120 film TLR camera. I enjoy developing my sense of composition, understanding of light and shadow, and attempting to portray colors as I see them. This is a selection of pictures I’ve taken both while working and in my civilian hours.
