I do not like dark roasts. I bought 3 different bags of coffee from Dragon Roast for the team and work and this by far has won the team over. As for ME it's ok again I am biased. Comments from coworkers who actually like dark roasts appreciate the bold flavor and strong smell. Also the light acidic ness was a great highlight too, I will agree with this one. My biggest turn off for dark coffees are the really acidic or kinda burnt taste. I still think it has a much to toasty flavor for me but everyone else loves it. I will order more of this for the team as well as the Barbarian as that was another big hit. For the non-dark roast peeps though this one is great with some milk/creamer. The chocolatey flavor that lingers after sipping is nice and with just a bit of cream it's like a hot cocoa coffee fusion. I am now wondering if I put some whipped cream in if it would make it even better.

The Barbarian Roast is mine and my wife’s favorite from Dragon Roast. The punchiness of the espresso, the rich aroma of cinnamon, and the notes of cocoa all blend perfectly. It gives us the energy we need for taking care of our two special needs boys and getting through the day

Gave this a try & it quickly became my new favorite! Great balance of peppermint & chocolate. That first sip was just exquisite! When I saw it was seasonal I quickly ordered another large bag to help get me through the cold winter months ahead! Paladin was my favorite but has taken a back seat, for now!

Love the roasts and our coffees everytime

Not a light roast fan typically, only ordered for the free shipping! That being said I have stayed with Druid! It’s incredible, great taste and not overly acidic.

The smell, taste, and texture are PERFECT. Wifey adores this roast.

Best coffee I've ever had. Not bitter or sour at all. Even black and with the grounds to the top. Probably more partial to the necromancer roast, but this is still a solid option. Even ground, it's extremely fresh and well packaged with no air.

I owned a AeroPress Travel with no complaints, but I found that I had to do multiple presses if I had a larger container to fill. This solves the problem, easily filling most travel mugs with one shot. It preserves the flavor of the bean and brings out notes that otherwise are wasted in drip coffee.

From the moment I opened the bag, I knew I was in for a treat! Peppermint is one of those flavors that’s best used in moderation, and holiday cheer of this coffee just nails that balance! Wonderful aroma!

Bought a bag at Dragonsteel 2025 and have been using it for espresso. Some of the best tasting and smoothest shots I have had in a long time. Also appreciate them selling freshly roasted beans as well, the roast date was only a week old when I purchased them which is amazing!

Hexblade was perfect. It wasn't overpowering with the peppermint flavor. Another winner from the DRC team.

This was a Christmas gift for my nephew. He absolutely loved it and said it was his favorite.

Best coffee beans I've ever bought

It's really good and refreshing- and doesn't give me weird symptoms from my medications like most coffees do.
I can't really taste the peppermint, but still a good roast and goes well with Italian Créme creamer.
Too bad it's seasonal, but hoping it'll become a permanent blend. ; v;
10/10 would definitely buy more lol
