Elsa, a majestic wolf-dog, was deemed “unadoptable,” but her arrival at Dog Heaven proved otherwise. She became the heart of our mission and a symbol of second chances.
The Underdogs
The UnderDogs is the non-profit side of Dog Heaven that helps heal people in crisis through the connection of nature and animals.
We provide programs for those wanting to heal and grow out of crisis situations such as—but not limited to—addiction recovery, abuse and trauma recovery, grief recovery, homelessness prevention, and mental or physical disabilities.
These programs are designed to help individuals connect to their natural healing ability through their connection to the Divine, using nature and animals as the vehicle.
