SpaceX launched their first ever Superheavy/Starship combo. While the flight wasn’t a complete success, it was an amazing achievement. As they’ve proven before, they will look at the data and revise and improve. Can’t wait for the next one. (post in memory of Mike Nofsinger who would have loved it.)

Space
Just within the last day, this and this happened and barely made any news. Space launches are becoming very common, which is both good news and bad news. (post in memory of Mike Nofsinger)

Way to go South Korea
And way to go SpaceX. Another country headed to the moon. The more countries that do this the better off we are as a species. Story here. (post in honor of Mike Nofsinger)

Elon making it look easy
Crew-4 ready to launch on Sunday not a few short weeks after the SpaceX/Axios private mission to the ISS. Musk is making it look like he is running an airline. (Which is what he wants and what we need)(Post in memory of Mike Nofsinger)

Space news: It is the little things
Glad to see NASA and SpaceX are paying attention to the little things. It is paying attention to all the details, no matter how small, that make for successful spaceflight. (Sorry for the lack of posting. A bout of mild Covid, followed by an ice storm, put me behind in many things.) (Post in memory of Mike Nofsinger, who I miss all the time)

More SpaceX success
Time just made Elon Musk Man of the Year. IMHO it is well deserved. We wouldn’t be in space like we are if it wasn’t for him. An example. (post in memory of Mike Nofsinger)

Well, this is good news

Oh no!
Story here. I am hopeful that Elon is being dramatic for the purposes of lighting a fire under his employees. Time will tell.
