What is Devcon?
Devcon is the gathering for the global Ethereum community to build and use decentralized systems.
It's a conference for builders of all kinds, with content ranging from the deeply technical to the profoundly human. Each edition moves to a new region and brings together developers, researchers, community organizers, students, and creators from around the world
Devcon 8 will take place in Mumbai, India from 3 - 6 November 2026.
We're bringing Devcon to India to highlight its fast-growing builder ecosystem and rising crypto adoption, with strong regional communities like ETHMumbai, Devfolio, and Polygon, and the unique ways crypto is used across the region for savings, payments, and accessing financial stability.

Past Events
Devcon and Devconnect are the major annual gatherings organized by the Ethereum Foundation.
Devcon has taken place across multiple regions and has grown from a meetup for early Ethereum developers into a large global community gathering.
Devconnect, launched in 2022, has grown into the second bi-annual anchor event. Devconnect Argentina in November 2025 brought together 14,000 people in Buenos Aires, with around 60% attending for the first time and ~50% coming from Argentina.
Devcon Archive
Devcon is geared toward Ethereum's builders, creators, and thinkers who wish to improve this world. Programming at Devcon takes a holistic approach and aims to engage all attendees through talks, panels, workshops, lightning talks, and freeform learning sessions.
The Devcon Tracks are a reflection of what is relevant in Ethereum "today", by focus area, at the moment of each conference.
