CAPS offers a variety of clinical services for students at Emory.
Explore OfferingsCAPS has expanded after-hours support to provide Emory students with confidential assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (24/7), year-round. Now, a student can call CAPS and speak immediately with a mental health professional to identify their needs, get support, and help develop a plan for next steps. Please call 404-727-7450 (press “1” when prompted) to speak with a clinician.
If you are an immediate threat to yourself or someone else, as always, please call the Emory Police Department at 404-727-6111 in an emergency if you are on campus, or call 9-1-1 if you are in the United States off-campus. Additional crisis response and support resources are listed below:

PLEASE NOTE: If Emory University is closed due to weather or other emergency, then CAPS is also closed. In such circumstances, students will be contacted to reschedule appointments once the university reopens, however, urgent support remains available 24/7/365 by calling 404-727-7450 to speak with a clinician.
