@arnelson Hello, are you still working on this FEP? The last update was more than 2 years ago and the FEP may be withdrawn due to inactivity.

We don't have to withdraw it, do we?

I don't know how active @arnelson is here, but multiple projects have implemented this FEP, including us with Bridgy Fed, and we think it's important and useful. Background in https://blog.anew.social/bridging-identity-with-account-links/ . We've had good experience with it in the wild so far, and beyond the projects that have implemented it, we've seen multiple more projects fix their interop so that it doesn't break them. I've also commented on the discussion thread https://socialhub.activitypub.rocks/t/fep-fffd-proxy-objects/3172 and said the same thing.

If it helps, as a member of the community and an implementor, I'm happy to request that this proposal move to finalized, or anything else.

@snarfed Only the original author can change the proposal or request finalization. Abandoned proposals are withdrawn by facilitators, but they can be re-submitted later by someone else. Would you be interested in becoming a co-author in such scenario?

The FEP has been withdrawn: #699
It can be re-submitted if anyone is willing to take it over.

I've been trying to comment here for the last week, but Codeberg keeps 500ing. 😕 Anyway, if @arnelson really is unavailable, I'm happy to take this over and re-submit.

The document is still in the repository, so you just need to add yourself to the authors list and change the status to DRAFT again.
