Molly has been one of my favorite baseball writers for years and I'm so happy she's on Substack! Her insights are unique and interesting. she also comes up with the best personal descriptors like "Nepo Baby John Fisher." Molly cares deeply about her work and the community she's built. There aren't too many kind souls like her out there!
I appreciate Josh's nuanced approach toward his writing. He covers interesting and new topics, mostly about baseball, but does a great job tying it back to his life. I've enjoyed getting to know him through his stories!
If you want to read a lot then Joe's Substack is just for you! The man is a machine with his posting frequency and the quality never suffers. I appreciate Joe's straightforwardness to his work and his willingness to give back to writers and different charities. He's an eccentric dude with lots of obsessions. He brings meaning to things that would otherwise be complete nonsense. He's one of those big fish that hasn't lost touch with his readers!
There aren't enough words to describe how great Mirin is! Her work is fantastic - she primarily writes longer human-interest stories in sports. They are nuanced and evoke emotion, reminding you that sports is more than wins and losses. She will usually report any work onto her Substack, so it's a good way to be notified when a new story comes out! Mirin is also a terrific biographer and has her second book coming out in the Fall of 2024! This is definitely someone you want to support :)
SID Sports has me excited for college football season! Griffin does a terrific job researching and analyzing all the various topics he covers. The cfb world is ever-changing. As a dad with two kids under three, this newsletter helps me stay informed on what's important and what I can look forward to!

I do not agree with everything, but I've learned a ton from him! I also appreciate his doses of TV, movie, and music advice. He's turned me onto many great things there, too!
