LIFESHARE

Lifeshare Groups

Lifeshare Groups are an investment into our church family—because we want every believer to have a vibrant walk with the Lord. The small group format is conversational and designed to be interactive and practical. Lifeshare Groups are a start to our Lifeshare ministry.

Lifeshare Groups are part of our discipleship ministry as we want every believer to have a vibrant walk with the Lord. These discipleship groups provide interactive discussion in a small group setting.

Here are the books:

  • The Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan: The Pilgrim’s Progress is a profound exploration of the Christian journey. Written while Bunyan was imprisoned for his faith, this timeless masterpiece has inspired millions worldwide with its vivid portrayal of the trials and triumphs of the believer’s walk with God.
  • Fighting Shadows by Jon Tyson and Jefferson Bethke: This book addresses the crisis of masculinity in modern society, challenging men to overcome seven detrimental lies that hinder their spiritual and personal growth. The book guides men to combat issues like loneliness, apathy, and shame, encouraging them to embrace their God-given masculinity as a positive force rather than a societal curse. It offers practical advice for men to live authentically, find purpose, and step into the light of Jesus’ vision for manhood.
  • Praying the Bible by Donald S. Whitney: Whitney teaches a method of prayer that involves praying directly from the Scriptures, which helps to invigorate one’s prayer life by aligning personal prayers with the words and truths of the Bible.
  • Marriage by Paul David Tripp: Tripp explores how the gospel can transform marital relationships. He outlines six foundational commitments that couples should make, rooted in Christian faith, to combat common marital issues like selfishness and misunderstanding. Tripp emphasizes that true marital success lies in both partners’ commitment to living out the grace, forgiveness, and love exemplified by Christ.
  • The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel: A compelling account of Strobel’s journey from atheism to Christianity, where he, a former legal editor, investigates the evidence for Jesus Christ’s divinity and resurrection, approaching it like a legal case with interviews from experts in various fields.
  • Habits of the Household by Justin Whitmel Earley: Discover simple habits and easy-to-implement daily rhythms that will help you find meaning beyond the chaos of family life as you create a home where kids and parents alike practice how to love God and each other.
