What you were looking for in Multimedia. I was thinking that XBMC was all, but talking about something else in multimedia is Boxee really good programme moreover that´s free. Very Nice All Around Media Center. Boxee is a very nice all around media center and is one of the best if you prefer one app doing everything for you. It can play almost any video file and audio file. you can watch certain stations and even subscribe to your own live video feeds. However it has it's flaws too.Some of the downsides to Boxee are the fact it can be extremely slow to start up and close down. The fact it opens by default in full screen mode which makes playing audio files a pain since usually most would like to do other things while listening to music. If your into doing other things at once besides just listening to music or just watching a video then Boxee is best suites for it's live feeds and for stations while letting another app work for video and audio files.All in all Boxee is a great addition to anyone's software collection even if just for the live feeds and different stations.
