TGRC Union seeks Voluntary Recognition by TGRCNM Executives
On Monday, 11/14/2022, TGRC Union submitted to executives leaders their demand for voluntary recognition. As of yet, we have not had formal recognition or response, so we are reaching out to the community we hold dear. With 100% now of current staff as signed members of the TGRC Union, we seek your support.

Here is the statement staff submitted to executives submitted 11/14/2022:

We, TGRC Union, have created and signed union cards and, as an unaffiliated union, seek voluntary recognition from the following executive leadership: T. Michael Trimm, Adrien Lawyer, Christine Armstrong, and Erik Wolf for the purpose of collective bargaining.
Eight out of nine (or 88.89%) staff have signed union cards and seek representation and negotiation on their behalf by TGRC Union.
We seek to align ourselves with the mission and values of TGRCNM while improving the morale and workplace environment for all staff, no matter their position.
The staff at TGRCNM do not have adequate representation within the workplace which has created significant challenges that we seek to change. The TGRC Union would ensure democratic representation for all staff, whether they are union members or not.
Previous non-unionized in-person and digital correspondence without a representative has failed to provide assurance or resolution on any issue or concern as of yet. There have been repeated violations of employment rights, trust, and staff cohesion. Because of these factors, and in the interest of TGRCNM as a non-profit, the staff have decided to assure that our rights and experience as staff are improved.
We believe that unionizing aligns with the long-held value of TGRCNM and its mission to support all transgender, nonbinary, and gender-diverse people- including its employees.
