Layena "MOLUCCAN" T-shirt Design
In the year 2023, I established the Layena brand, specializing in fashionable shirts for young adults with a Maluku theme. For one of our T-shirt designs, I created a typographic composition featuring the word 'Moluccan,' representing the alternative language spoken by the people of Maluku, accompanied by a brief description. The T-shirt embodies a simple yet distinctive design, with the Moluccan text featuring a shimmering effect that adds a touch of uniqueness and prominence. The choice of materials is deliberate, utilizing a cotton combed 24s fabric ideal for tropical climates. This fabric strikes a balance, being neither too thin nor excessively warm, ensuring comfort for wearers in tropical conditions. This T-shirt design encapsulates the essence of Maluku through typography, offering a fashionable and culturally significant option for the youth market.
