A high TDS reading is NOT an indication of a poor filter. It's the trace minerals in water that result in different TDS readings. Our filter can retain the healthy minerals in water, which may cause a high TDS rating. It's normal and reasonable. Even the bottled mineral water will have readings in excess of 250ppm!
