  7. Love Portugal, but for me it would be “Beyond the Algarve” and I would have to include Lisboa. So many places to see. Love Monsaraz and many of the Alentejo marble towns. So many top places. Thanks for sharing MM 📷

    • I know what you mean, but the fact is that the Algarve is more than just one long beach on the South coast – which is why this blog isn’t called ‘Beyond Algarve’ 😉
      And don’t get me wrong: I love Lisbon! I just want to share what’s *beyond* it because so many people focus on Lisbon alone – and even then they don’t properly explore the city. I like to think of myself as some sort of masked blogging avenger. Ah!

    I just moved to Lisbon and love it (while also being entirely aware of how interesting much of the rest of the country is/will be to me.
