Swedes say that “alone, one is strong”. But the Swedish/Icelandic pair Karolina Thunberg and Ísak Ásgeirsson prove that two people who complement each other are stronger. Between distorted, country-flavored guitars, a gritty indie drive and the somber tones of Nordic melancholy, they have developed their own signature sound, which was cemented in 2019 on their first EP Drought.

In 2024 they released their debut-album heavy heart, no tears, an exploration of inner destruction and how it can manifest, in relation to oneself, to one’s loved ones, and to complete strangers.
