Bullet-hell arena shooter for PC

Battle Ram is a premium action game for PC by developers Wloop777 and Anatoliy Loginovskikh. It is a top-down bullet-hell shooter that lets players control a scientifically-modified battle. They will be pitted against waves of enemy robots in a secret military arena to prove their capabilities.

Top Recommended Alternative

Similar to Archvale or Enter the Gungeon, Battle Ram offers players fast-paced action with challenging and engaging gameplay. What makes it standout is that it primarily focuses on melee combat to battle and defeat enemies since that is really what its main animal protagonist is capable of doing, that is to ram opponents.

Headstrong

The game revolves around a military laboratory located at a secret base. It's working on creating the perfect weapon. The result of which is a powerful creature, the titular Battle Ram, which is basically a superpowered lamb. To test its combat effectiveness, it will be subjected to deadly training, battling robots inside an arena. It doesn't have any weapons, though. Instead, it will destroy by ramming everything in sight.

The game features different enemy types with unique attacks, from missiles to cannon blasts, and energy orbs that will come at you non-stop. For controls, you only need your mouse to move around a circular arena and aim in which direction your battering ram-like charge will go. There are multiple game modes available and you can also adjust the difficulty setting to your liking.

As of this writing, the game features eight levels that boast different battle scenarios and combinations of enemies to face and overcome. There's a slight learning curve at the beginning, but once you get used to the controls, you will practically finish everything in no time at all. As it stands, there is not much content here, so hopefully, more will be added in the future.

More robots to crush

All in all, Battle Ram is a charming little game that will provide good fun if you're looking for something to play in short bursts or to help pass the time. The controls are easy and the gameplay is simple, yet satisfying. Hopefully, more content gets added in the future to increase its replayability. Still, this is worth checking out and is recommended.
