This song is an entire narrative, banging the whole way through. From journeying to triumphant to reflective-- so damn good.

    Shutter Shutter
Hit me like no other game, and this OST was a large reason why. Every track in this album just sends me back across the beautiful narrative this game weaves so perfectly.

This album is a lot more than just a set of Half-Life remixes-- it genuinely stands on its own as an amazing set of synthetic tracks. Black Mesa's inclusion here alongside the original Half-Life OST is incredibly welcome and helps make for an incredibly cohesive and loving tribute to the whole series.
  13. Black Mesa Xen Soundtrack (Definitive Edition)
    by Joel Nielsen
    Ascension (D.E.) Ascension (D.E.)
It is so fitting that the Xen portion of Black Mesa be separated into its own album. I've never seen a game completely flip the switch on its soundtrack identity, and especially not to such a degree of success seen here. Ascension remains the only track that gives me goosebumps every single time I listen to it-- just... Wow.
  14. Black Mesa Terra Soundtrack (Definitive Edition)[Vol. 1 & 2]
    by Joel Nielsen
Blast Pit 3 Blast Pit 3
This album is an absolute triumph-- so much so that I think I enjoy it even more than the original Half-Life's OST. Simultaneously badass and tragic, the music of Black Mesa is so essential to weaving the darker tone this game takes compared to the original.

    Unbreakable Unbreakable
I've supported SEWH via the Builderfan plush, via the VIP pass, and now via this! I don't think I've ever been so infatuated with a Roblox game. This OST is amazing and a brilliant mixture of old and new Roblox vibes, just like the actual game!
  16. Minecraft - Volume Beta
    by C418
Moog City 2 Moog City 2
Volume Beta takes the highs of Volume Alpha and further emphasizes the darker and more awe-inspired tones seen throughout its predecessor. Truly deserving the reputation of one of the greatest OSTs ever created.
  17. Plants vs. Zombies Soundtrack

Watery Graves (fast) Watery Graves (fast)
The perfect balance between lighthearted whimsy and darkness. One of the best soundtracks ever created!
