Workation — a portmanteau of “work” and “vacation”
Working from a vacation rental home? – Work from Anywhere.
“Workation” is an initiative by Unusual Escapes that allows you to work away from your office, blending leisure time with productive time. During these challenging days, Workation comes as a blessing as you can combine your work with a vacation. Thanks to the Internet, remote working is now a reality. And this is just not the privilege of IT Professionals and Entrepreneurs. Any one who can work digitally can opt for Workation with great benefits for both morale and productivity.
Ditch your 9-to-5 work cubicle, head to a hill station or a beach and start working remotely!
Similar to the concept of digital nomads, it is typically understood to be a hybrid activity in which employees telecommute from hotels, resorts and other destinations that allow them to escape the mundane reality of everyday life.
The workation is one of the concepts it has promoting for tourism, along with similar ideas such as “bleisure,” a combination of the words business and leisure, and satellite offices.
It believed its created the possibility of a more flexible work style, allowing employees to go on personal trips even if they had work meetings scheduled in the middle of their itinerary, according to an internal affairs ministry report.
Workation essentially involves employees working anywhere they want, unsupervised, and is therefore a far more radical concept than telework.
Sincerely
A Workation: Work from Anywhere

What People Say
“Adventure is a path. Real adventure, self-determined, self-motivated, often risky, forces you to have firsthand encounters with the world.”
Mark Jenkins
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
Mark Twain
“Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.”
Anthony Bourdain
