What if she shares her truth
A seedling offered to the light
As sacrifice for all the years
She was silent
And what if her world doesn’t end
Or fall down around her feet
But instead life begins
Growing from between the cracks
Penetrating the deepest parts of her soul

When her wings won’t fly
She walks
When her heart won’t sing
She talks
When her hands won’t hold
She makes
When her best isn’t enough
She takes
And shares it anyway
What if to share her true self
In ways that she never imagined
What if she were to put aside
Her fears
And recognize her greatness
Who are you to shine your light
She whispered
Who are you to share your beauty
In an ugly world
Who are you
With grit and determination between her teeth
She shouted
Who am I not
To do all this and more
The Angels remind us that we all have a problem that, when solved, benefits not only ourselves but others as well, if we are willing to not only do the work but share our knowledge, our light, in return. A gift of grace for ourselves and others.
The Angels remind us that a story resides in us all. How we tell it is up to us. What’s most important is that we tell it.
The Angels remind us that the love in our hearts is too big not to share, though it may feel too frightening, vulnerable, and raw. Hearts are meant to be broken open to radiate the love.
