Her stomach growling
With the hunger of change,
She satiates herself
On that which feeds her soul
And energizes her body
To rise and shine

When all else fails
She finds her magic on the inside
Feeding her need for excitement
And awe
Manifesting new worlds within
And seeding them outward
To grow like trees
Into the future she wants to see

Some days are frustrating. Some days are “Monday” all day long (and it’s only noon).
I try to remind myself to use those days as opportunities to find magic that fuels me in a different way.
From the inside out.
Because when I’m not finding what I need around me, I can almost find what I need within me.
Perhaps I should start looking there first more often?

The power of creation
Is violent, vehement
Jars you from your sleep
Into the black night of discoveryFeed it
Let it feast on your innermost being
Until it is forcefully brought to life
With the sweet, sweet release
Of giving birth to the futureNurture it, suckle it
Bathe it as it grows
Haunting your days
Delighting your nights
Until the offspring of your dreams
Are fully mature in their own right
And you may finally rest yourself

Feed yourself every day. Not just your body, but your mind and your spirit as well. Feed yourself with positive thoughts, people, and acts. Feed yourself with silence, deep breathing, good sleep. Feed yourself with Love.
