Rest, she hears
But —
Allow rest
No ifs, ands, or buts
Float in liminality
Allow rest to wash over and cleanse away
Every pull to Do instead of Be
Allow rest

She’s arrived
But still reading
Between the lines
For affirmations,
Practical words,
Questions that define
The undefinable,
She’s arrived
But still evolving,
One foot ever resting
In all her worlds

I had a big milestone last week and I’m feeling “arrived”, like I landed at a new level.
The day after my book event, I felt a bit dejected and lost. The excitement was over.
It didn’t take me long to remember that there are so many next steps.
More events coming up. More trainings. More writing.
More of what I love and what keeps me motivated and moving forward.
Not that I don’t want to pause to enjoy and celebrate this new level at which I’ve arrived.
But there’s more to do.
Correction: there’s more to BE.
The doing gets me there, but the being is what guides me. What keeps me moving forward.
This feeling of arrived is a state of being, not a task that I’ve accomplished.
There will always be tasks, plenty of them.
But to be able to pause and experience the being – that’s where the growth happens.
So we can start again.
How are experiencing the being today?

The Angels remind us that when we find ourselves in full go mode, we can make time for feeling and being, if only for a moment, which allows us the perspective and expansiveness to keep going, or possibly, slow down.

The Angels remind us that tiredness is a sign that we’ve been doing too much without enough being to balance it out. No need to power through, just rest. When we shift the energy to peace instead of chaos, things tend to fall into place.

The Angels remind us that space must open in order for the energy of our dreams to become manifest. Therefore, sometimes we have to be still and patient for a time, no matter how much we want to be doing something else. In our waiting, we are holding space for the new.
The Angels remind us to find the balance in all things. Rest is as important as accomplishment. Being is as important as doing. Find your peace in the quiet whispers they place on your heart.
