What if doing something different
Isn’t insanity like they told her?
What if being herself
Isn’t crazy at all?
What if creating a path
No one has walked before
Is the only way
That she can stay alive?

In the faded photographs
Of her mind
The memories of time
When things looked different
She remembers them better
But they were just different
Now faded, not forgotten
She’s feeling faded too
Different and better

Like everyone else, I’ve been more inside my house for the last year than outside it. It’s been a nice respite, honestly.
We humans are creatures of habit. It feels safe and comforting, especially in times of uncertainty.
But there comes a time when a change of scenery is required in order to continue to grow.
We need to allow some sunlight into the cracks, and out of the cracks as well.
When we don’t listen to the internal nudges, we eventually get external reminders.
I pulled a card last night that could’ve been written specifically for me.
The central message: get out of your routine.
Duly noted.
Where are you finding today that you’re in a routine which needs refreshing?

The Angels remind us that a new day is an opportunity for change. Tired of the same? Do something different. Think something different. Be something different. What will be new and different today?

The Angels remind us not to seek a different life, but rather to seek a life that is meaningful. Different will follow.
