HOW I DO IT
I'll Guide You Every Step of the Way.
STEP 1
Welcome Check
This home visit assesment is to see where you are with all your newborn and new mommy needs. We take a look at the nursery and accessories that make your home baby friendly.
STEP 2
Feeding Strategy
During this step, we help mommy decide on formula or breast feeding. We also identify feeding times and schedules that promotes work and home life routines.
STEP 3
Activating The Plan
Providing guidance and support the mom on ultimate sleep, while we coach baby on a journey to supreme overnight sleep patterns.
STEP 4
Ongoing Support
Regular check-ins and additional support as needed to help mom and baby achieve and maintain their goals over time even after we are gone.
FAQs
Newborns generally feed every 2-3 hours. Breastfed babies typically drink around 1.5-3 ounces per feeding, while formula-fed babies may take closer to 2-4 ounces. Follow your baby’s hunger cues, and consult your pediatrician to ensure they’re gaining weight appropriately.
Regular formulas work well for most babies, but if your baby has digestive issues, a sensitive or hypoallergenic formula may be beneficial. Organic formulas use organic ingredients, but it’s essential to consult your pediatrician to ensure you’re choosing the best option for your baby’s needs.
Avoid high-mercury fish, and caffeine in excess, and limit alcohol intake. Staying hydrated and eating nutrient-rich foods (like leafy greens, lean proteins, and whole grains) supports milk quality. Omega-3-rich foods (like salmon and chia seeds) can also benefit milk production.
A good latch feels comfortable, not painful. Look for your baby’s lips flanged outward, and their chin touching your breast. You should hear rhythmic swallowing and see your baby’s ears moving as they suck.
Key items to consider would include a crib or bassinet with a firm mattress, a diaper-changing station, a comfortable chair for feeding, and blackout curtains. Ensure the sleeping area is free of blankets, pillows, or stuffed animals to reduce SIDS risk.
You must stay within our standard operating schedule of Sunday -Thursday night. You may choose your hours and weeks at the consultation step.
