EltaMD UV Clear Face Sunscreen is an oil free sunscreen made with Zinc Oxide. This SPF 46 facial sunscreen is lightweight and helps calm and protect sensitive skin types prone to acne, rosacea and discoloration.

Suggested use

Apply per directions to help prevent sunburn. Reapply at least every 2 hours. How to Prime the Pump: With the cap cover in place over the pump, turn the container upside down and tap firmly 8-10 times. Please refer to video for troubleshooting guide to prime the pump.

    Disclaimer: I have used many different sunscreens and brands without finding anything I really liked.

    First time using Elta MD UV clear sunscreen and I am in love with it. I have very sensitive skin with rosacea and avoid chemical sunscreens because they burn my skin.

    The moment I put on this sunscreen it was creamy and unscented. It really absorbed into my skin and left no greasy residue. A few minutes after applying I was able to touch my face with no residue or product coming off on my hand.

    I do find this product a tad expensive but I feel that it is worth the price and it will be my go to sunscreen.

    I’ve tried a multitude of sunscreens and this one from Elta MD is the one that has made my skin look and feel the healthiest. It’s such a good sunscreen overall.

    I have very sensitive skin and rosacea, and I’m prone to get acne. I had issues with other sunscreens aggravating my rosacea, or causing me to break out. But not the Elta MD sunscreen. No issues whatsoever.

    It goes on really well and nicely. The way the sunscreen spreads is really nice and allows for good, even application.

    I like how the Elta MD is SPF 46, which gives more protection than a lot of other sunscreens I bought before that were only SPF 30 or 35.

    There’s also no scent or smell, which is nice. It does leave a slight whitecast, but I actually think it’s a perk because with my rosacea, it evens out my skin and makes it look better than it actually is. So, for me, the slight whitecast makes my skin look better, as it makes pimples, rosacea redness, and other blemishes less noticeable and creates a more even appearance.

    It’s pricey and I’ve wanted to buy something else, but nothing compares to this sunscreen. Truly the best sunscreen of everything I’ve tried. All around, it’s a very well made sunscreen that is a joy to use.
