I did not smell any kind of weird smell when first opening like you sometimes get when purchasing things through Amazon. So the design is super cute which is the main reason I even purchased this set. The one negative and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the obvious sliding around of everything from them being satin. I’ve never used satin sheets before and I’ve heard it’s a pretty common thing. It’s not annoying enough for me to return them though, Atleast not for me. The sheets are super comfortable. My biggest regret is purchasing them in the winter. My room gets freezing cold so when I initially get in bed for the night the sheets are very very cold. This will be awesome in the summer but not so much when it was -20 degrees during Christmas! I was really shocked that the fitted sheet actually fit the way it was suppose to due to the fact that I have a 3 inch memory foam topper on top of a matters that Atleast requires sheets with very deep pockets! At first I didn’t think the fitted sheet was going to go around all 4 corners on the bed. You would need to purchase 2 pillow cases seperaty that will Match the set if you are OCD like me!

If you buy these and have issues with the sheet staying in place on the bed Amazon does sell sheet clips that you can use to help with that. I didn’t purchase any of those since I haven’t had that problem too bad. My main issue is the pillows sliding around everywhere. I just wanted to share that incase some people are having that issue and aren’t sure how to fix it.

However I likely wouldn't order satin sheets again as the flat sheet kept slipping off the fitted sheet... therefore causing anything on top of the flat sheet to also fall off the bed. The fitted sheet also came off the corner of the mattress nearly every single night which may be due to my own sleeping patterns but none the less I will be getting new sheets because of this inconvenience.
